Oxford got off to a fast start Tuesday, run-ruling Senatobia 13-3 in five innings in the day’s third game.
Eight Chargers recorded hits in the game.
Junior third baseman William Elliott led the team with three hits (single, double, triple) and four RBIs.
Senior center fielder Luke Gibbs was 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Junior catcher Henry Webb collected a single and a double for Oxford, while senior outfielder Kade Metts recorded a single and a triple.
Junior right-hander Noland Parham improved to 1-1 on the year, limiting the Warriors to three runs (two earned) on four hits and one walk. Parham also struck out three in the complete-game performance.
Due to a late scheduling adjustment, Oxford did not play a second game on Tuesday.
