Ole Miss lands DB

Just over a month after national signing day, the Ole Miss Rebels landed another player towards its 2012 signing class in the form of Anthony Standifer.

According to Rivals.com and Scout.com, the Crete, Ill., cornerback announced his decision to play for the Rebels on Sunday.

Standifer (6-foot-1, 175 pounds) originally committed to play for Michigan in the spring, but “went different ways shortly after his senior season,” according to an artical on Rivals.com.

This time around, Standifer selected the Rebels over Vanderbilt and Pittsburgh. He is considered the No. 45 cornerback in his class by Rivals and No. 30 cornerback by Scout. (March 5, 2012, Page 9A)
