OHS improves to 7-0

The Oxford tennis team made quick work of regional rival New Albany on Wednesday at Avent Park, claiming a 6-1 victory to improve to 7-0.

Quinn Elliott claimed the boys singles point 6-3, 6-3 and Embrey Inman won the girls singles point 6-4, 7-5. In the boys doubles match, Robert Nance and Andrew Mullen claimed a 6-3, 6-2 victory, while Will Swindoll and Judson Watson earned a 6-4, 6-1 win in the No. 2 boys doubles match. Ann Marie Edlin and Cari Hansen took the No. 1 girls doubles point 6-3, 6-1, and Kara Rose and Baxter Elliott took the mixed doubles point with a 6-1, 6-4 victory. McClellan Davis and Emily Domke lost a difficult No. 2 girls doubles match 6-3, 2-6 (10-4).
