Lafayette celebrates one last time

A season full of hard work, and one that was filled with great memories for the Lafayette Commodores, was celebrated one last time Wednesday in the LHS gym. The championship rings, that will be worn adoringly by the players, support staff and coaches for years to come, were handed out at a ceremony that also included lunch from Chick-Fil-A.

Anthony Hart, who led the Commodores to 32 straight wins and back-to-back Class 4A titles before becoming the school’s new athletics director, talked about how it felt to host the ceremony again. (March 29, 2012, Page 7)
