A little Mardi Gras spirit will be injected next week into Oxford thanks to a recently created Mardi Gras society, which will host a ball to celebrate the holiday and, in turn, give back to the local arts community.
The inaugural Red Clay Ball will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Wednesday at Proud Larry’s, and it is being described as “a night of benevolent debauchery.” (February 10, 2012, Page 2A)
