PONTOTOC — Lafayette’s Lady Commodores continued their magical postseaon run and advanced to Jackson for the upcoming MHSAA Class 4A state tournament by knocking off Senatobia 58-52 Friday night in the Pontotoc gym. While the Lady Commodores (15-14 overall) were unable to defeat Pontotoc to win the 4A North Half championship on Saturday, LHS coach Amy Sutton could only focus on the positive, which is a return trip the “Big House” for the right to play for the 4A title.
