Bost, Bulldogs make up for loss to Rebels

STARKVILLE — Revenge was not a word that Mississippi State point guard Dee Bost used in his postgame comments Thursday night but it was quite obvious that defeating the Ole Miss Rebels was the main focus for the senior.

A little less than a month after dealing with comments directed at him from Ole Miss followers on Twitter, Bost gained a measure of revenge by helping lead the Bulldogs to a 70-60 win in front of a near capacity crowd of 10,364 at the Humphrey Coliseum. The native of Concord, N.C., finished with 15 points and a career-high 13 assists in the victory that was more one sided than the final score indicates. His floor game was praised by Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy, who has routinely said Bost is the best point guard in the Southeastern Conference. (February 10, 2012, Page 6A)
