In games against Vanderbilt, Florida and LSU, the Ole Miss women have fallen victim to lopsided runs that they were unable to overcome.
Against Arkansas on Thursday, it was the Lady Rebels that did the running in their 60-54 home victory.
After falling behind by as many as 10 in the first half, Ole Miss slowly chipped away at Arkansas’ lead and eventually tied the game 33-33.
At halftime, a switch was flipped and the Lady Rebels used a 13-0 run out of the gate get ahead of the Lady Razorbacks for good. (January 13, 2012, Page 6A)
