Having one of the best gloves in the North Mississippi area has resulted in a scholarship and a spot on the Northeast Mississippi Community College baseball team for Lafayette’s Luke Stanley.
The standout senior has been considered one of the better middle infielders around for a while and his play for the Commodores, and his summer league team, garnered him an offer from NECC. Stanley turned that offer into a guarantee when he signed to play for coach Kent Farris and former Lafayette coach Richy Harrelson, who raved about Stanley’s overall ability.
