More confident Rebels travel to play at Georgia

With a win over Mississippi State now under their belt, the Ole Miss Rebels will look to knock off another set of Bulldogs and earn their first road win in the Southeastern Conference in the process.

Ole Miss (12-6 overall, 2-2 SEC) heads east to Athens, Ga., to play the Georgia Bulldogs (10-8, 1-3) at Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. and the game can be seen locally on the SEC Network with Clay Matvick calling the action and Joe Dean Jr., adding the color analysis.

Momentum and confidence are two of the bigger things Ole Miss gained from Wednesday’s win over Mississippi State. They are two things Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy was hoping might get his team over the hump on the road where the Rebels have struggled to score and often times struggled to rebound and defend. (January 20, 2012, Page 6A)
