Lafayette wrapped up its home-and-home series on the pitch with Cleveland on Saturday, splitting with the visitors.
While the LHS girls cruised to a 6-0 victory on a gusty Saturday afternoon at William L. Buford Stadium, the Commodores were defeated 6-2.
In the girls’ showdown, Lafayette scored five goals in the first half and never let Cleveland gain any sort of confidence to get back in the game. (January 16, 2012, Page 8)
