BLOG: After playing a nip-and-tuck game early on, the visiting Auburn Lady Tigers pulled away from Ole Miss en route to a 67-54 victory at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum earlier today.
Ole Miss led 22-19 at the 8:41 mark of the first half, but the Lady Tigers out-scored the home team 19-6 to close out the frame and never let Ole Miss get within seven points of the lead.
Auburn was led in scoring by Camille Glymph‘s 19 points, while Ole Miss was led by Nikki Byrd (11) and Valencia McFarland (15).
Ole Miss returns to the court on Thursday with a road game at Kentucky. The game is set for a 6 p.m. start. (January 29, 2012)
