Oxford’s seventh-grade girls defeated Pontotoc 18-9 Monday night in the OHS gym, but the eighth-grade Lady Chargers were unable to come up with a similar result as they lost 33-21.
Monya Baskins led the seventh-graders with eight points. Darayane Mathis and Kayla Phillips finished with seven and three points respectively.
Kayla Malone led the eighth-graders with 10 points.
Emma Schultz added six, while Mia Shepherd had four points. (January 25, 2012, Page 7)
