Is Byrd the key to improved shooting?

The Ole Miss women are struggling to knock down shots.

The Lady Rebels currently rank last in the Southeastern Conference heading into tonight’s home game against Arkansas, converting just 37.5 percent of their shots.

Coming off of a 68-52 loss at Vanderbilt on Sunday in which Ole Miss shot just a tick over 28 percent, head coach Renee Ladner acknowledged her squad needs to fix something.

In order to improve their percentage as they venture deeper into their SEC schedule, Ladner believes the Lady Rebels must stick with their inside attack. (January 12, 2012, Page 7)
