Lafayette graduate and former Northwest Mississippi Community College assistant coach Alan Arrington is leaving North Alabama to join Terry Bowden at Akron.
Bowden, who was the head coach at North Alabama, was recently hired to turn the Zips around.
Arrington has been at North Alabama for six seasons and was the Lions’ offensive coordinator. (January 12, 2012, Page 7)
