CORINTH — Tuesday’s Class 4A playoff soccer match between the Lafayette Lady Commodores and Corinth Lady Warriors was filled with hustle, passion and a lot of drama. It was played the way coach LHS coach Melinda Scruggs wants her team to play it.
Unfortunately for the Lady Commodores, Corinth was able to edge out a 4-3 win in two overtimes to advance to the quarterfinals on Saturday. (January 25, 2012, Page 7)
