Huntington headed to play at Belhaven

A chance to remain in the state of Mississippi and close to family while also earning a degree from a well respected university was too much for Will Huntington to pass on. The former Oxford High tennis standout committed to play for Belhaven University recently, a move that he thought would benefit him in many different ways.

Huntington, who is currently playing well for Meridian Community College, chose Belhaven, located in Jackson, over Western Kentucky and Ferris State University in Michigan. Huntington made the move so he could remain in the state of Mississippi and play at a school with a tradition that includes alumnus Billy and Barney Chadwick. (December 15, 2011, Page 6)
