In November, Metrocast customers were notified their rates would be going up for several packages, including the basic package that consists mostly of local network stations and The Weather Channel. On Tuesday, the Oxford Board of Aldermen agreed to write a letter to local law makers asking for their assistance in keeping rates down for basic cable users. (December 8, 2011, Page 1)
