An experienced group, led by standout senior guard Erika Sisk, has Oxford High girls basketball coach Shayne Linzy excited about the upcoming 2011-12 season.
Seven seniors return to the roster from a team that finished 24-4 last year and made an appearance in the Class 5A North Half tournament.
Now, with the return of junior Alexus Malone to the middle of frontcourt, bigger things are expected for the Lady Chargers who have made continued progress under Linzy. (November 3, 2011, Page 10)
