Louisville, one of the state’s hottest teams, will invade William L. Buford Stadium Friday night to take on the No. 1 ranked Lafayette Commodores in the quarterfinals of the MHSAA’s Class 4A playoffs.
Louisville, coached by the highly respected M.C. Miller, has become a familiar team for the Commodores to face in the playoffs. LHS has defeated the Wildcats the past two seasons, including a 44-12 win at home last year. LHS coach Anthony Hart said Louisville is a strong team again and led by several of the same players his team has matched up with the past few seasons. (November 17, 2011, Page 6)
