‘Dores capture region with blowout

The answer to the question of exactly who the best team in Region 2-4A this year was answered in impressive fashion by the No. 1 ranked Lafayette Commodores Thursday night at William L. Buford Stadium. LHS showed its immense talent and depth on offense, defense and special teams with a one-sided 49-7 whitewashing of North Pontotoc.

Rangers blast ICC Indians in regular season finale

FULTON — A third straight victory for the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers Thursday night appears to have earned them the No. 2 spot in the upcoming MACJC state playoffs.
