SPAFER in Oxford, a part of the South Points Association for Exploring Religion, and is a nonprofit, non-denominational study group that meets monthly to explore the histroy and beliefs of the many faith traditions. We do this within the context of our knowledge of the natural and spiritual laws of the Universe in which we live.
The next meeting will be Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m. to noon, and will feature a video presentation by Dr. Deepok Chopra entitled, “The Mystery of Consciousness.” Chopra is a medical doctor, and national known author and lecturer in the fields of medicine, science, religion and spirituality. His presentation will focus on the role of consciousness in our human life experiences and in our relationship and understanding of the divine.
Those of all faiths or no faith are welcome to attend what should be a very enlightening session.
