BLOG: SENATOBIA — Another Friday night, another lopsided victory in favor of the Lafayette Commodores.
Against an athletic Senatobia team, the Commodores were able to improve to 10-0 on the year with a 48-8 road victory.
Lafayette fullback Jamel Dennis scored on a 6-yard run on Lafayette’s first drive, setting the tone for the game.
Jeremy Liggins had touchdown passes of 78 yards and 46 yards to DeBrico Burgess and Jeremiah Jones, and a 1-yard touchdown run to lead Lafayette in the scoring column.
Sophomore running back D.K. Buford also made his presence felt with touchdown runs of 35, 4 and 24 yards.
Buford’s final two touchdowns came in the second half.
Senatobia’s one score came on a 74-yard run by Deundre Bohanna. (October 21, 2011)
