L-O-U Symphony Orchestra

The L-O-U Symphony Orchestra will present its fall concert at 8 p.m. Monday in the Gertrude Ford Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of the University of Mississippi. The program will include Rossini's “Barber of Seville Overture,” Corelli's “Concerto in C minor,” and Schubert's “Symphony No. 1.” Appearing as a special guest is the internationally known soprano, Kallen Esperian, who was appointed artist-in-residence at the University this year. She will sing Ruggiero Leoncavallo's “Mattinata,” and “O mio babbino caro” from Giacomo Puccini's opera, “Gianni Schicchi.” Tickets are available at the UM Box Office at 915-7411 or at
