One Response to “Is Oxford a safe biking community?”

    1. MC says:

Bikers make busy highways unsafe, especially where there’s heavy truck traffic, for themselves and for the rest of us. The slow bike traffic has no place to pull off when cars and trucks often pass them in no passing zones. Why can’t they be satisfied or confined to ride in designated places or at least on low-traffic county roads?

If they are determined to ride on taxpayer supported highways and cause accidents, why do they not have to purchase tags for their vehicles, and have insurance and licenses?

Our elected Highway Commissioner should express himself on behalf of all of us.
