GAMEDAY Blog Tidbits: Ole Miss at Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. — Here at Auburn Univeristy’s Jordan-Hare Stadium for tonight’s game between the Ole Miss Rebels and Tigers.

* Ole Miss is 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the Southeastern Conference heading into the contest. Auburn is 5-3 and 3-2 and returning home after a 45-10 loss to No. 1 LSU.

Auburn is playing just its second home game since Sept. 24. Ole Miss has only been on the road once in the SEC so far this year and that was six weeks ago at Vanderbilt.

Tonight’s game can be seen locally on ESPNU (Metrocast Channel 102) and Direct TV on Channel 208.

* Since 200, Auburn is 24-4 in games at home games that start at 6 or later. Auburn has also won 12 straight games at home, tied for the seventh-longest streak in program history. The last time Auburn won 12 games in a row came during the 2000-01 seasons.

* Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt is 6-7 all-time against Auburn and 1-2 against the Tigers since coming to Oxford from Arkansas.
