First place in Region 2-4A will be on the line when the No. 1 Lafayette Commodores host New Albany Friday night at William L. Buford Stadium.
As impressive as the Commodores (8-0 overall, 2-0 in Region 2-4A) have been this year, New Albany has turned some heads with its ability to regroup after losing over 20 seniors from a team that was defeated by LHS in the third round of the 4A playoffs.
LHS coach Anthony Hart said he has a lot of respect for the Bulldogs (6-2, 2-0) and what coach Ron Price has been able to accomplish this year. (October 13, 2011, Page 6)
