NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The look on Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt’s face following Saturday’s one-sided 30-7 loss to Vanderbilt summed up the miserable offensive performance turned in the by the Rebels.
After watching the Rebels turn the ball over five times, commit six penalties for 51 yards and only convert four of 14 third-down conversions, there wasn’t much Nutt could say about Saturday’s display of inept passing, running, blocking, catching and play calling other than it was bad. Really, really bad. (September 19, 2011, Page 1B)
