OM soccer, volleyball looking to bounce back

Both the Ole Miss soccer and volleyball programs will be looking to get back in the win column this weekend after working through difficult road trips last week.

For the volleyball squad, this weekend’s Magnolia Invitational marks the first time the Lady Rebels will be playing in front of a hometown crowd at the Gillom Sports Center.

The volleyball team has had a rough go of it to start the year, winning just one of the five matches they’ve played.

While the win total isn’t where he wants it, coach Joe Getzin said he has seen positives from a difficult non-conference slate that saw the Lady Rebels travel to Texas and Louisville for tournaments. (September 7, 2011, Page 6)
