The city of Oxford’s Mississippi Blues Marker unveiling is set for 4 p.m. Oct. 12 after the city found a location for the sign — temporarily.
The marker, which will celebrate the general history of blues music in Oxford, will be placed in the cement island area across the street from Rooster’s Blues House. (September 22, 2011, Page 2)
