Turnovers, miscues doom Oxford in loss to Grenada

GRENADA — Turnovers and general miscues proved to be the Oxford Chargers undoing in their season opener against Grenada on Friday night. The officials controlling the clock on the field didn’t help matters either.
OHS lost, 16-15, in large part because of five turnovers committed during the course of the contest and some costly penalties that ended up thwarting potential scoring drives. (August 22, 2011, Page 1B)
