HOOVER, Ala. — Outside of the Georgia football program, the future for veteran coach Mark Richt looks unsettled and precarious to say the least.
Inside the program, the view of Richt is much different. Whether it was sophomore quarterback Aaron Murray or senior defensive back Brandon Boykin, the belief that Richt will turn the Bulldogs’ fortunes around in 2011 is strong.
Boykin, who was recently named to the Coaches All-SEC first team as a return specialist, says he hears the negative comments about Richt and how he has to win now in order to keep his job. He said he doesn’t get too involved with what he hears and instead tries to remain focused on having a great final season with the Dawgs. (July 22, 2011, Page 8A)
