Churches, like people and families, have their beginnings, and several churches have, or will be, celebrating notable birthdays. One local church that will be turning 175 next year is First Presbyterian Church, and Editor Don Whitten gives a personal perspective on the church complex and family located just west of the Square as it begins a year-long celebration. (July 15, 2011, Page 4A)
