Reading program Party
The Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library will host an End of Summer Reading Program Party at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Participants in the Summer Reading Program are reminded to bring their reading record so they can receive a prize for reading five or more books during the summer. The members of the Tallahatchie Toastmasters Club will meet from 7 to 8:15 Aug. 4 at Cedar Oaks, 601 Murray Drive. The club meets on the first and third Thursdays of every month. The Oxford area Reach to Recovery group will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Azalea Gardens. All breast cancer survivors, family and friends are encouraged to attend for a potluck supper and program.
