Led by two former local prep players and former Water Valley assistant coach John Walker, the North Delta Dealers defeated the Golden Triangle Jets 15-3 to win the Cotton States Baseball League title on Sunday.
Former Commodore Luke McCullough had a double, scored a run and drove in a run during the win, while former North Delta standout and Oxford resident Derrick Shawn scored a run in the victory. Northwest Mississippi Community College standout Jeremy Carlisle had four hits and two RBIs for the Dealers, while Brent Langston drove in four runs for the Dealers.
