Mills, Lewis take part in Crossroads All-Star Game

Lafayette infielder Josh Mills and head coach Greg Lewis took part in Saturday’s Crossroads Diamond Club All-Star game played at Pearl’s Trustmark Park. Mills was a member of the North squad in the 4-5-6A game that the South won 12-11. Mills went 0-for-2 with a walk at the plate and also recorded a stolen base. Lewis, who served as a co-head coach with Lewisburg’s Rusty Cagle, said Mills played third base during his time in the field and that the overall experience was a good one. Lewis added he liked being around the players that were headed to the next level to play college ball. (June 6, 2011, Page 7)
