- Viola Mason Joseph — 92, of Water Valley died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, on her birthday. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sander’s Chapel. Burial will follow in Christian Memorial Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
- Helen Mae “Sista Girl” Wafer — 63, died Sunday, May 15, 2011. Services were held Saturday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee. Burial followed at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee. Northwest Funeral Home Chapel of Milwaukee was in charge of arrangements.
