What, are they going to re-enact the blocking of James Meredith at registration? My memories of those days were that the University mainly colluded with then governor Ross Barnett and Senator Kennedy to block James Meredith from registering and even after the National Guard assisted in getting him registered his fellow students tried to create an atmosphere that was impossible for him to learn anything. The only efforts toward tolerance and acceptance have been recent years. Ole Miss, I would sit this one out quietly.
