Oxford’s fantastic run through the Class 5A playoffs will continue Thursday against a familiar opponent in Ridgeland. The Titans and Chargers have already met two times this year, with OHS winning both games.
Oxford coach Chris Baughman went and scouted the Titans, the 2010 5A North Half champions, on Monday as they finished out their series with New Hope. Baughman said the biggest difference between the Titans now and when they played them back in February and in March at the Oxford Spring Break Tournament is they will face their ace, Nick Johnson, for the first time. (May 11, 2011, Page 6)
