Ole Miss teams have strong APR numbers

Ole Miss’ lack of success on the fields and courts this past season did not transfer over to the classroom as eight teams posted perfect scores on the NCAA’s Academic Progress Report released on Tuesday.
A week after the women’s golf team and softball team received recognition from the NCAA for perfect marks in the multi-year APR category, six other sports received recognition for perfect scores for the 2009-10 academic year. Those sports included men’s basketball, men’s cross country, men’s golf, women’s volleyball, women’s rifle and women’s tennis.

All of Ole Miss’ teams exceeded the minimum score of 925 in multi-year APR results, while 11 teams rank above the national average. (May 25, 2011, Page 6)
