Brewers get offensive in 13-14 league win

Aundrel Turner collected three hits and three RBIs to help lead the 13-14 year-old Farese Family Dental Brewers to an 18-3 win over the Oxford Eye Clinic Rangers in Oxford Park Commission youth league baseball on Monday night. In the other 13-14 game, the Mississippi Auto Arms Twins beat the Braves 7-5.
In the 11-12 year-old league, the Smith Building Supply Red Sox nipped the Bank of Oxford Yankees 3-2, while the Oxford Dental Cardinals edged the Hunter’s Hollow Braves 5-4. In the 10-year-old league, the Rainbow Cleaners Rays topped the Tannehill, Carmean & McKenzie PLLC Cubs 10-7, while the First National Bank Tigers defeated the Buckman Cardinals 7-4.

In the lone 9-year-old league, the Gilliland Orthodontics Giants topped the Ligon Oral Surgery Rangers 11-3. (May 24, 2011, Page 6)
