Rebels hold off ‘Cats to claim series

When Brett Huber struck out Kentucky catcher Luke Maile to preserve the 6-5 victory at Oxford-University Stadium on Sunday, the Rebels found themselves in unfamiliar territory — with a Southeastern Conference sweep, the first for the team since taking three games in Starkville last season.

It’s a feeling the Rebels sound like they could get used to, as the win puts them in a three-way tie with Alabama and Arkansas for first in the SEC West and fifth overall. (April 18, 2011, Page 1B)
