Oxford Civic Chorus’ 25th anniversary season features spring concert

The Oxford Civic Chorus’ 25th anniversary season continues, culminating with its spring concert “Oxford Sings!” at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at David H. Nutt Auditorium.

Those interesting in joining should plan to attend rehearsals that start back Monday, Jan. 22. The group will meet at Oxford-University United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. No is audition required.

The first few rehearsals are open rehearsals, where they invite anyone who would like to sing with them to come early, meet the directors, make new friends and try out some of the music the choir will be performing at its spring concert.

Regular rehearsals are 7-9 p.m. on Monday nights. Semester dues are $50 and cover the cost of music you’ll take home with you.

Whether you come and sing with them or simply enjoy the performances, the choir members hope you will celebrate their 25th anniversary season with them.
