LHS softball routs Lewisburg

The Lafayette softball team scored three runs in the third and seventh inning to rout Lewisburg on the road 12-0. Lafayette collected 14 hits as a team while forcing the Lady Patriots to make six errors.
Kelsey Kesler earned the win for the Lady Commodores while Sierra Anderson was saddled with the loss.

Corey Hollis was the unquestionable catalyst for the Lafayette offense as the struck two home runs and a double.

M.C. Pate, Cameron Mize and Kesler also had multiple hits in the contest.

The Lady Commodores will return to region play on Thursday, hosting Lewisburg at 5:30 p.m. (April 13, 2011, Page 10)
