Lafayette baseball rolls Center Hill

Lafayette’s potent lineup led the Commodores to two one-sided wins over Center Hill and New Albany over the weekend. The Commodores defeated Center Hill 13-2 on Friday night to remain perfect (6-0) in Region 2-4A play, while the ‘Dores smacked around the Bulldogs for the second time this year in a 14-9 win at New Albany.
In the win over Center Hill, LHS collected 13 hits and had two innings where it scored five runs. Luke Stanely had a double and a triple and drove in five runs, while Hunter Robison added three hits, including a home run, a double and topped Stanley with six RBIs. (April 11, 2011, Page 4B)
