A 10-run second inning was too much for the Rayner Eye Clinic Braves to overcome on Tuesday, as the 10-year-old Oxford Park Commission Bravos lost to the First National Bank Tigers 12-7.
In the other U-10 league, the Buckman Cardinals topped the Rainbow Cleaners Rays 15-11.
In the U-9 division, the Larson’s Big STAR Phillies defeated the Oxford Plastic Surgery Red Sox 7-1 and the Gilliland Orthodontics Giants fell to the Hinton & Hinton Cubs 9-4.
In the lone 11-12 year-old league game, the Old Taylor Antiques Giants defeated the Smith Building Supply Red Sox 7-4. (April 21, 2011, Page 7)
