Rebs end regular season with Hog roast

The round of applause that culminated with a standing ovation from the Ole Miss crowd at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum may have started with 43 seconds left, but the cheers of Senior Day will be felt for years by Chris Warren and Zach Graham. The dynamic duo, who have been the two main reasons why the Rebels are in any kind of postseason position this year, combined to score 39 points and dish out 12 assists in the Rebels’ 84-74 win over Arkansas Saturday afternoon. The victory was arguably the most productive of the season for the Rebels, who improved to 19-12 overall and 7-9 in Southeastern Conference and earned the No. 3 seed from the SEC West in this week’s SEC Tournament. Ole Miss plays South Carolina, the No. 6 seed from the SEC East, on Thursday in the first round at 2:30 p.m. (March 7, 2011, Page 6A)
