An opportunity to gain some revenge as well as some much needed momentum for the remainder of the Southeastern Conference Tournament is what the Ole Miss Rebels are looking to achieve when they take on South Carolina in Atlanta. The Gamecocks will be Ole Miss’ first-round opponent in the SEC Tournament that will be held at the Georgia Dome starting on Thursday.
Ole Miss (19-12 overall) lost its only meeting with USC on Feb. 22 in Columbia, S.C., so the motivation to make up for that loss is squarely on the Rebels’ minds heading into the tournament. (March 9, 2011, Page 6)
