When the Rebels (20-13 overall) tipoff against California (17-14) tonight at 8, it will be the first meeting between the two schools and the first meeting for the Rebels against a team from the Pac-10 since their last NCAA Tournament appearance in 2002.Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy was getting caught up to speed on what the Golden Bears do well prior to the team’s flight out of Memphis on Monday night, and while he was still trying to figure out their personnel, he was aware that they have some skilled players and an outstanding coach in Mike Montgomery leading the way.
