The Oxford junior varsity tennis team made quick work at Senatobia on Tuesday, cruising past the Warriors 6-1.
Quinn Elliott defeated Joel Garrott 6-0, 6-0 in the boy’s singles match, while Sam Peeler and Callan Shinall combined to win the No. 1 boy’s doubles point 6-3, 4-6, 10-7. Matt Forgette and Liam Cooper took the No. 2 boy’s doubles point 6-0, 6-4.
Sarah Nash and McClellan Davis won the No. 1 girl’s doubles point 6-1, 6-0, while Emily Morgan and Eliza Williams were victors in the No. 2 girl’s doubles match 6-3, 6-3.
Kara Rose and Will Swindoll rounded out Oxford’s points by claiming the mixed doubles point 6-2, 6-3.
Oxford’s lone loss came at girl’s singles where Embrey Inman lost 6-2, 6-2.
